S.B. County homeless population increases
The number of homeless people counted in San Bernardino County increased by 66 percent with families increasingly at risk, according to a recently released survey.
A biannual count, conducted over two days in late January, found 2,876 homeless people compared to 1,736 counted in 2009, according to the results presented to the Board of Supervisors this week.
